Junior / Mid-Level Video Editor

About the role
A dynamic television production company based in Bryanston is seeking a Junior / Mid-Level Video Editor to join our multi-platform post-production team.

We’re looking for someone passionate about storytelling, with a solid understanding of reality TV production workflows and strong technical skills in video editing. You’ll be working across multiple projects each week, often under tight deadlines, and collaborating closely with clients to bring their creative vision to life.

Key responsibilities

• Edit video content that aligns with creative direction and client requirements.
• Collaborate with the post-production team to deliver high-quality work.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Incorporate client feedback effectively during revisions.
• Ensure final deliverables meet both internal and client quality standards.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in video editing (TV production or media environment preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
• Diploma or degree in film, video, media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of video and audio editing techniques.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail, proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach.
• Familiarity with motion design software is an advantage.
