The award is given annually to media owners, suppliers of media services or companies that contribute towards media effectiveness.
This year's award was won by M-Net, for their reality TV show, Big Brother, with much praise going to Karl Fisher of Magic Worx and Peter McKenzie of Oracle Airtime Sales.
Second place runner up was Deon Coetzee of Megahertz Marketing in second place. Craig White of Graffiti Media shared third place with Marcel Golding of etv.
At the same ceremony, Dick Reed was presented with the MDC's Platinum Award, which recognises and rewards those individuals who have made an outstanding lifetime contribution to the media planning and research industry.
