New look for Alcoholic Beverage Review

October sees the launch of Hotel & Restaurant's annual survey of the liquor industry, the Alcoholic Beverage Review. This year's guide will be a bumper edition, incorporating for the first time the Beverage Business Yearbook, a full directory of brands across all categories and who owns them.

The inclusion of the Beverage Business Yearbook, traditionally published in December, will make the total package the most comprehensive yet and an invaluable handbook of South Africa's liquor industry, according to Hotel & Restaurants national business manager Tammy Holtshausen.

The publication will carry an overview of the liquor marketplace in 2004, statistics reflecting how well the industry as a whole and respective brands in particular, have done, comment from industry leaders, detailed information on brand activities and plans for the year ahead. It will also contain valuable industry resources such as the contact details of producers and importers of every available liquor product in South Africa.

For suppliers, this national publication offers one of the most effective ways of speaking directly to customers since circulation is to be expanded beyond the on-trade to include the top liquor retail chains in the country.
