New weekend line-up for 94.5 Kfm

Changes have been made to 94.5 Kfm's weekend line-up in line with Primedia Broadcasting's goals to nurture and develop on-air talent, the station announced yesterday, Wednesday 8 July 2009.

The station has launched a new Weekend Breakfast show starting 11 July, Homebrew has been extended, trainee slots shortened and a new Old School Sunday host introduced.

“We are constantly on the look-out for new, young talent to nurture and grow on the station, and so have decided to give Hot Jock winner Sango Siyengo his own show on Fridays,” said Colleen Louw, 94.5 Kfm station manager. “We are also very pleased to be able to offer Grant Jansen and Denver Apollus their own shows, and to launch Best of Kfm Breakfast with Ryan O'Connor.”

The line-up changes are:
Friday: 10pm to 1am: Theo Esau; 1am to 4am: Sango Siyengo
Saturday: 4am to 6am: Trainee slot; 6am to 8am: Keri Miller; 8am to 10am: Best of Breakfast (launches 11 July); 10am to 2pm: Take 40 with Mark Pilgrim; 2pm to 6pm: Stand-in presenter; 6pm to midnight: 94 hits in a row
Sunday: Midnight to 3am: Chris Kolbe; 3am to 6am: Trainee slot; 6am to 10am: Grant Jansen; 10am to 2pm: Denver Apollus; 2pm to 6pm: Thabo Ramashala; 6pm to 9pm: Homebrew with Zane Derbyshire; 9pm to 1am: Stacey Norman.
