Player Escort ad greets Cape Town arrivals

The larger-than-life McDonald's Player Escort Programme creative has greeted all visitors to South Africa, making use of the Cape Town International Airport during the World Cup and will remain up until 30 July 2010. It contracted Primedia Unlimited's large-format, outdoor advertising specialist, Wideopen, to spread the word of its Player Escort Programme.

According to Ryan Cohen, Wideopen's sales director, its strategically located airport sites are the ideal target for LSM 7-10 consumers. The site is 103m2 in size and consists of the escalator and bulkhead branding at the end of the pre-baggage claim corridor. "The creative is visible to an average of 270 000 domestic passengers per month," says Cohen.
