Dubai Lynx Agency of the Year Award withdrawn

It was announced yesterday, 8 April 2009, by the organisers of the 3rd Dubai Lynx Awards that the Agency of the Year award will be withdrawn from FP7 Doha and that now no award will be made this year. Investigations after this year's award show have revealed numerous examples of work from FP7 Doha that apparently did not meet the Dubai Lynx entry criteria and, subsequently, these 18 submissions and the associated seven awards have been withdrawn. Those awards were: one Gold Print campaign, one Gold TV/Cinema campaign, three Silver Print campaigns, one Silver Outdoor campaign and one Bronze TV/Cinema campaign. In addition, 10 pieces which were shortlisted in the Print and Outdoor sections were also disqualified.
