Israeli minister to address Cape Town Press Club

Minister Yuli Yoel Edelstein will address the Cape Town Press Club on recent developments in the Middle East and the Palestinian initiative of a unilateral declaration of independence and take questions. He is currently Israel's minister of public diplomacy and diaspora affairs and has served in several important government roles, including deputy minister and minister of immigrant absorption and deputy speaker of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament). The meeting will be held at on Monday, 29 August 2011, at 6 Spin Street Restaurant, Cape Town at 1pm.
