SA Mental Health Media Awards
The winners of the annual competition, initiated by Stellenbosch University's Mental Health Information Centre, were announced at a function on World Mental Health Day on October 10. Overall winner Ilse Pauw, of Health24, won the television/radio/internet category. Certificates of special recognition were presented to Radio 702 and SABC television and radio. Di Caelers, health writer for Cape Argus, won in the newspaper category. Caelers also won the award in 2000. Fair Lady's Adele Hamilton was the winner in the magazine category.
