CNN rankings improve in first quarter of 2017
For the first time in 14 years, CNN beat out MSNBC and Fox News in leading the year's first quarter news viewership. In the period between January and March 2017, CNN has ranked number two in cable news and eighth in cable TV overall.
All of its key programmes have indicated rating increases of up to double digits in comparison to the same time, last year.
