Ananzi.co.za, South Africa's premier search engine and information portal, recently became one of the first online media owners in South Africa to make use of DoubleClick's DART For Publishers (DFP) system, thanks to global online technology service providers, Acceleration.
DFP, a web-hosted ad publishing solution, allows Ananzi to serve, manage and report on ads via a centralised ad-server. Ananzi is the first member of the Online Publishers Association to utilise and implement this ad server, to deliver online advertising to visitors to the site.
DART allows Ananzi to accurately reach audiences based on geographic and impression-based data, which enables Ananzi to meet the expectations and demands of advertisers with quantifiable results. With detailed inventory forecasting, efficient trafficking, advanced ad targeting, and comprehensive analysis and reporting on a reliable, robust and scalable platform, Ananzi is confident that service delivery to advertisers will set a precedent within the growing South African online industry.
With the ability to draw on unique site traffic patterns, online advertising campaigns are tracked with up-to-date reports that survey all aspects of the performance. These detailed reports provide advertisers with answers to questions such as, "How many clicks did each ad receive?" and "What is the reach of my advert?"
"Acceleration is focused on adding value to publishers in the online space. Our customers are extremely pleased with DFP and we look forward to growing our relationships with them," comments Jan-Willem Borsboom, Director of Publisher Ad Operations at Acceleration.
Mark Buwalda, Managing Director of Ananzi, adds: "I believe that the benefits of DART include all over control and integration with other backend systems, effective audience targeting and increased ad server efficiency. Ananzi has successfully implemented DART to maintain all online campaigns and we are ecstatic about the results it has provided thus far."
