Currently searching for a Data and AI Governance Lead who thrives at the intersection of compliance, ethics, and innovation. No dusty cubicles. No bureaucracy.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years’ experience in data governance, data management, or compliance leadership
- years plus in a leadership role
- Knowledge of data governance tools (AWS Glue Data Catalog, Collibra, Alation, etc.)
- Deep understanding of POPIA, GDPR, and data privacy regulations
- Familiarity with AI governance and ethical AI practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement enterprise Data and AI Governance frameworks
- Define data ownership, stewardship, and classification policies
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards
- Oversee data quality, lineage, and metadata management
- Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to embed governance controls
- Promote data literacy and accountability across the organisation
