The Role

We’re looking for an SEO and AIEO Specialist to join us permanently and help elevate BYYSS’s content and partner campaigns. This role combines technical SEO expertise with editorial sensitivity, while also pioneering Artificial Intelligence Engine Optimisation (AIEO), ensuring our content is discoverable not only in traditional search results but also in AI-powered search experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Excellence
• Develop and implement SEO strategies tailored to parenting, lifestyle, and advocacy-driven content.
• Conduct keyword research with cultural and regional sensitivity.
• Optimise headlines, meta descriptions, and content structure for readability and search visibility.
• Monitor site performance, crawlability, and indexing issues; implement schema markup and technical fixes.
• AIEO Innovation
• Optimise content for AI-driven search engines and conversational platforms (Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, etc.).
• Ensure BYYSS’s content is structured, fact-checked, and context-rich so it can be surfaced in AI-generated answers.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to make content AI-friendly without compromising authenticity.
• Track emerging AI search trends and adapt strategies to maintain visibility in evolving digital landscapes.
• Analytics and Reporting
• Track KPIs (organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, conversions, AI search visibility).
• Deliver actionable monthly reports for editorial and strategic teams.
• Use AI responsibly for keyword clustering, content gap analysis, and trend monitoring, always with human oversight and fact-checking.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in SEO (minimum 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
• Familiarity with AIEO principles and AI-driven search experiences.
• Ability to balance technical optimisation with editorial nuance and emotional resonance.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Analytical thinker with cultural and linguistic awareness.
