At Smeg, design is everything. We’re looking for a talented all-rounder to support our marketing team across digital, print and social media content. You’ll collaborate closely on campaigns, conceptualise and roll out marketing assets, and take the lead on ensuring brand excellence across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Brand & Marketing Manager to conceptualise, plan and execute marketing campaigns and day-to-day content.
- Design and roll out a variety of assets including product brochures, signage, catalogues, POS materials, price lists and print-ready broadsheets.
- Create engaging social media visuals and support content planning across platforms (still and animated formats).
- Edit short-form video content or motion graphics where required for social, web and campaign use.
- Maintain brand consistency across all outputs, applying the Smeg CI and brand toolkit with flair and attention to detail.
- Confidently manage feedback and iterate quickly, without needing excessive guidance or mock-ups to interpret briefs.
- Stay up to date with design trends, creative tools (especially AI-led design innovation), and contribute fresh ideas regularly.
- Support the marketing team with campaign rollouts, launches, seasonal updates and general design needs.
- A strong, up-to-date portfolio that clearly showcases multi-format design work (print, digital, social media), campaign thinking, and real-world brand application.
- Minimum four years’ professional experience in a similar role (agency or in-house), working across campaign development, marketing collateral and content production.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or Multimedia Design.
- Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Figma or similar collaborative design platforms as a plus.
- Working knowledge of motion tools (Premiere Pro/After Effects) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced design tools and eagerness to experiment with emerging technologies to improve workflow and creativity.
- Experience designing within a brand framework or following CI/toolkits, with the ability to interpret, not just replicate.
- Marketing-minded with a proven understanding of how design supports business objectives, sales drivers and seasonal campaigns.
- Confident working with minimal creative direction - you’ll know how to take a brief and run with it.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to self-edit and deliver polished work the first time.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to take feedback constructively and contribute proactively to team success.
- A genuine passion for design, innovation and the ability to keep pace with visual and cultural trends.
