"Internationally, TGP will host 360,000 of the world's VIP's, celebrities, jetsetters and high rollers at a network of glamorous events that link luxury with philanthropy," says Shimmy Beach Club director, Shawn Mace. "We are delighted that Cape Town has been recognised as one of the world's party cities and that the club has the distinction of being named a TGP venue."

Located at the V&A Waterfront, the club has nominated AIDS NGO, Wola Nani with its orphans and vulnerable children programme (OVC) as the benefiting local charity. All 360 TGP events around the world will raise funds for children's causes. It joins an elite list of the world's chicest nightspots including Nikki Beach in Marrakech, Ozu Club in Paris and The Savoy, London as host venues for TGP 2013.

"Introduced at the start of 2013, managed communication services involves us rolling up our sleeves and integrating the efforts of an army of service providers that most clients would not have the ability to source or the time to manage. In addition to our core PR competencies in content generation and media liaison, we get to integrate all touch points of the communications outreach. I am delighted that the firm has been tapped to participate in this worthy philanthropic exercise," says the firm's chairman Marcus Brewster.
